To provide a customized experience, the App stores certain preferences locally on your device:

• Selected News Sources: Which RSS feeds you have opted to read.
• Theme Preferences: Your choice of Light, Dark, or System UI themes.

This data is stored solely on your device (via Android DataStore) and is never transmitted to us or any third parties. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is deleted.

4. Internet Traffic and Third Parties

Lam7a is an RSS aggregator. To fetch the latest news, the App connects directly to public RSS feeds provided by third-party news organizations (e.g., BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera, DW).

• When the App connects to a news source to retrieve articles or images, your device communicates directly with those external servers.
• These third-party servers may log standard internet data, such as your IP address and the User-Agent header, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
• We do not control the data practices of these external news providers.

5. News Aggregator Disclosure

Lam7a is a news aggregator application. All news articles displayed within the app are sourced from their respective original publishers. The original source (publisher name) is clearly attributed alongside every article. Lam7a does not create, modify, or claim ownership of any news content.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to ensure the local data on your device is protected. However, because no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App does not intentionally target children. While the app is generally safe, news content fetched from third-party sources may contain mature themes (e.g., conflict or politics) that are not suitable for children under the age of 13.
